04 / A FEW DETAILS
That is the plan: connect your personal ChatGPT and Claude subscription accounts through their official coding tools. Each account keeps its own provider limits. Authentication, usage readings, and compatibility are being validated before release.
Atelier will be free, proprietary software. Its source code will not be published. Your ChatGPT or Claude subscription is separate and remains subject to the provider’s own terms.
The planned desktop workspace works with your local project folders. Your agents still communicate with their providers to carry out tasks. Parallel conversations can use separate Git worktrees.
The first version is planned around new conversations created and managed inside Atelier. Importing or controlling conversations already running in other desktop apps is outside the initial release.
GitHub and compatible MCP tools are planned. Availability will depend on the provider and the tool’s authentication requirements. Existing desktop plugins may need a separate setup.
Atelier is in development, with no release date announced. This page will provide the actual Windows installer, version, and verification checksum once a release is available.
